Piemonte: the elegant region homeland of Savoia Family

Description

1° day: Arrival in Torino. Visit of the city center of Torino that was the first Capital of Italy from 1861 to 1865. Stop in a typycal Caffè (bar) to taste the famus Bicerin with local sweet pastries. After visit to Superga Basilica with grave of Savoia Family and all its royal apartments from which there's a breathtaking view on whole Torino. Transfer to the hotel, dinner and overnight.

2° day: visit to the city center of Torino, with focus on Museo Egizio; then climb to Mole Antoneliana (the Symbol of Torino) and its museum of Cinema. Nice promenade among the elegant streets of shopping and main squares of the city.
Back to hotel, dinner and overnight.

3° day: transfer to Reggia of Venaria Reale for the visit of the wonderful and stately building together with its amazing gardens. Lunch nearby in typycal restaurant. Then departure for Wine's region reaching Bra, nice walking tour of the city center, then dinner and overnight.

4° day: visit to Langhe and Roero area, famous for the production of Wines (Barbaresco, Dolcetto & Barbera). First stop in Alba with visit to a typycal winery with local wine tasting tour, then go on with the visit of Barolo, a littel town famous for the red wine. Lunch, then reach Cherasco and visit a famous Cioccolateria, for tasting the Baci of Cerasco, delicious  chocolates (visit to the artisan workshop included). Dinner and overnight in hotel.

5° day: end of tour and back home.
